What I Did: I removed the lower branches from the tree then cut cardboard to fill the hole. This one particulair piece was a box, so I cut one full side and half of the next to get the fold. Then I covered it with pretty paper. Now, it's safe for nibblers, munchers and bunnies who come bearing "gifts". This little hide-out could be a place to tuck away Christmas secrets as well.
